Bravery Online Auctin: Week 1

~ UPDATE ~

I just discovered that Ebay will not allow more than one gift card/certificate a week, which will change this week's listing. The Yardhouse and Arizona Art Supply will have to be at a later listing. Items will be revised to reflect this mysterious policy. If you can't wait to have the items, please contact Vickie Florschuetz. Click on the item number to go directly to the auction page.

There are some really nice items that have come in for the auction. You will be notified of them here first with a start date. The next day they will be listed on the Ebay page and open for bidding! The link to the page will be emailed to you and added to this blog once the listing is live. We will have several items per week for 8 weeks, so you will have 7 days to complete your bid. Please feel free to donate an item to the auction and help us meet our financial goal. Contact Vickie Florschuetz if you have an item you'd like to add.

Welcome to the Bravery Auction Blog

Thank your for your interest in the auction. This is an ongoing effort to raise funds for the beneficiaries of Bravery. The auction is through Mission Fish/Ebay Giving Works and is a progressive auction. That means that items will be open for bidding in phases. You will need to allot time for processing and delivery, but the proposed time period is around 7 days depending on the item.

Each week, any new items donated from participating companies will be photographed and posted in a blog with a short description and emailed to keep you updated on the auction. We encourage you to give feedback on how this process is working for you and suggestions on items you would like to see and bid on.

Furthermore, a ChipIn widget will be available to show where we are on donations in reaching our $100,000 goal by the end of October. Remember that 100% are given to beneficiaries so they can fund the important services the help domestic violence survivors.

Thank you for your support
